I visited it one afternoon , it was open for visitors...and I was quite intrigued by the layout of the building.
The taxi who gave me a ride to the Mariscada said  with a smile that it could ave been a  place for "Gentlemen seeking for fun"....see what I mean?? THere are only a dozen rooms, all covered with stone!! even the bed is made out of cement and covered  with carved stoned, inspired by the Mayan   Culture...
There is some kind of Lobby, with a reception, desk and tables ( remember: everythinig is made of stone!!!)
There is a bar, with stools and  fixed furniture..... and tables with  round holes in them..... reminds me of roulette tables....
The  swimming pool is not that big bubt there  Mayan inspired   warriors (in stone)  looking at the bathers (   there is no water anymore today!!!) so be careful , if you dive check the water level next time you go there!!

If anyone has any idea  about  its  origin....don't hesitate :  tell me:
