Ahh... sailing and discovering the inner waters around Denmark is always a pleasure.
This time we visited Fænø Kalv in Lillebælt between Jutland and Funen. Fænø Kalv is special in the sense there are remnants of a swedish basition from the Sweden/Denmark war, the swedes fortified themselves in this small island to escape the dasish troops in 1658.
Fænø Kalv is also interesting in the sense that it is intentionally kept clear of any new construction, so visitors may have an experience of visiting a deserted island.
We went there in the beautiful Dragonfly35 trimaran by Quorning Boats. Who have their yard in Skærbæk, across the belt from the island.
